GAME DAY PREVIEW Game time: 7:00pm ET
North Carolina State at Duke

DURHAM, N.C. (ESPN.com news services) -- Sixth-ranked Duke looks to extend several streaks tonight when it hosts North Carolina State for an Atlantic Coast Conference battle.

Duke (13-2, 4-0 ACC) has won a school record-tying 26 straight ACC regular-season games. A victory tonight would equal the record of 27 consecutive wins held by North Carolina State from 1972-75. The streak dates back to Feb. 5, 1998 when Duke lost at North Carolina.

The Blue Devils also are on a school record and ACC record 43-game winning streak at Cameron Indoor Stadium. They have not lost at home since an 81-69 setback to then-No. 2 Wake Forest on Jan. 11, 1997.

Freshman Carlos Boozer scored 21 points in an 85-54 victory over Florida State on Sunday as Duke won its 13th consecutive game since opening the season with losses to Stanford and Connecticut in the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.

Duke leads the ACC in scoring (89.8 ppg), scoring margin (21.6 ppg), free throw percentage (75.3) and 3-pointers (8.4), while also limiting opponents to 39.3 percent shooting from the field and 30.9 percent from 3-point range.

The Blue Devils have six players averaging at least 10 points per game, led by senior Chris Carrawell's 17.1 points per game average. Junior Shane Battier scores 15.7 points and freshman Jason Williams is third on the team with 15.1. Boozer contributes 12.7.

Three Duke players are pulling down at least six rebounds a game as Carrawell leads the team with 6.5 and Boozer and Battier chip in with 6.3 and 6.2, respectively.

Against N.C. State, Duke has won five straight games and 10 of the last 11 meetings. The Blue Devils have also won 10 of the past 11 games against the Wolfpack here in Cameron.

N.C. State (12-2, 3-1) is coming off a 76-56 victory over Wake Forest on Sunday as Anthony Grundy scored 30 points. Grundy is leading the team in scoring with 14.2 points per game. Damon Thornton adds 10.2 points and 8.1 rebounds.

The Wolfpack lead the conference in scoring defense (59.2 ppg) and turnover margin (+5.8). They are off to their best start since 1989-90, when the Pack also began 12-2. N.C. State has not begun a season better than 12-2 since 1988-89 when the school owned a 14-2 record. That was the last season the Wolfpack started the ACC season 4-1.
