Enes Kanter tweets photo of Rudy Gay nameplate in Thunder locker room

Less than 24 hours after one of the leading NBA news-breakers joined ESPN, Enes Kanter of the Oklahoma City Thunder did his best Adrian Wojnarowski impersonation.

The veteran center tweeted a photo of a nameplate for free-agent forward Rudy Gay in the Thunder locker room, along with the journalistic caption, "League sources tell Enes Kanter" and a surprised emoji.

MVP Russell Westbrook's locker is also featured in the photo, next to Gay's. According to ESPN's Royce Young, there is currently no deal in place between Gay and the Thunder. However, Young confirmed the swingman was in Oklahoma City on Saturday, meeting with the team and touring the practice facility.

Gay, 30, averaged 18.7 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 30 games with the Sacramento Kings last season before rupturing his Achilles tendon in mid-January. The 11-year veteran would provide the Thunder with another proven scoring threat following their recent acquisition of Paul George.
