San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili has been balding for quite some time. It's not news.
But with the Spurs retiring Tim Duncan's iconic No. 21 jersey against the New Orleans Pelicans on Sunday, Dec. 18 in a special postgame ceremony, the team has been reliving some of Duncan's greatest moments and memories on social media.
On Friday, the team tweeted out a photo gallery of Duncan and Ginobili over the years.
The hugs, the head pats, the friendship.

Upon seeing the tweet, which features Duncan clasping Ginobili's head, Spurs guard Patty Mills roasted Ginobili, concluding that Ginobili lost his hair because of Duncan's continuous head rubs.
Ahh that's why Manu went bald...🤔 #timmysfault @manuginobili https://t.co/ntfTuOBIT5

Instead of firing back, Ginobili embraced the joke, posting a hilarious GIF of Duncan restoring Ginobili's hair and claiming he chooses to maintain his barren hairstyle.
@Patty_Mills But late in my career he restored it all...
