Moses Malone Jr. says he was beaten for criticizing James Harden

Warrants have been issued for four men in the alleged beating and robbery of Moses Malone Jr., the son of former NBA legend Moses Malone.

Malone said he was attacked last month for a critical Facebook post of Houston Rockets star James Harden. Police have charged four men with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, but they are not in custody.

Malone said he believes that Harden sent the men to beat him up at an after-hours club in Houston and steal his jewelry. According to lawyer George Farah, the jewelry is valued at $15,000.

Harden has not been charged or accused of wrongdoing in the case.

The Facebook post in question criticized Harden for charging $249 to attend a basketball camp in Houston, saying it shut out inner-city children from attending.
