Cincinnati Reds pitcher Ross Ohlendorf has won his appeal and his three-game suspension and fine have been rescinded, a source tells ESPN's Jerry Crasnick.
Ohlendorf was suspended three games by Major League Baseball for throwing at Pittsburgh's David Freese after warnings had been issued. Ohlendorf was also fined. He appealed the penalties.
Reds manager Bryan Price was suspended one game and fined.
Ohlendorf was ejected after hitting Freese in the ninth inning on May 11 at Cincinnati. The Pirates won 5-4 in a game in which four Pirates batters were hit and two Reds were plunked, continuing recent bad blood between the teams.
