ESPN.com Power Rankings 2013

7. Oklahoma State
The Cowboys had the Big 12's attention for a few weeks -- before Kansas landed Andrew Wiggins. But Oklahoma State didn't suddenly drop. The Cowboys still have one of the best players in the country, regardless of position, in Marcus Smart. Smart can lay claim to being one of the favorites for Big 12 and national player of the year honors. Markel Brown and Le'Bryan Nash, as well as Michael Cobbins, are hardly hood ornaments. These three are all more than capable of giving the Cowboys a chance to unseat Kansas atop the Big 12. The question for Oklahoma State is how this team will handle expectations and the big-game moments. If it can embrace them -- especially away from home -- then the Cowboys have a chance to get to Arlington. -- Andy Katz
