Linebacker | Michigan StateIf you could genetically engineer a linebacker, he'd probably be a lot like Max Bullough. A third-generation Michigan State player with football bloodlines on both sides of his family, Bullough has carved his own legacy as the leader of the Big Ten's top defense. He enters his third season as the Spartans' starting middle linebacker after recording 200 tackles, including 19.5 for loss and six sacks, to go along with three forced fumbles and two interceptions in the past two years. Spartans defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi calls Bullough his on-field "computer" because of his system knowledge and mental approach to the game. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound senior is a top candidate for Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and several national awards. --Adam Rittenberg
