Durability
The ability to withstand punishment is a question mark for both fighters. Trout's defensive style makes him difficult to evaluate, while Alvarez routinely gives far more than he receives. There might be slightly more evidence to work with in the case of Alvarez, who has always been willing to exchange and typically has shown a good chin (Jose Cotto hit him hard, rocking him a couple of times, but Alvarez weathered it). Still, Miguel Cotto caught Trout with good punches on more than one occasion in his most grueling fight yet, and Trout showed that he could hold up.
