The infamous Disco Demolition Night promotion leads to a riot and a forfeit.


Mike Veeck had fans bring their disco records to Comiskey Park and then blew them up between games of a doubleheader. Then all hell broke loose as a sellout crowd rioted, stormed the field and forced a forfeit. It may have been the worst promotion of all time -- or the greatest.
