Mark Kerr
Jan. 30, 2000-May 1, 2000
Bracketed to meet Inoue in the opening round of Pride's historic Grand Prix 2000 tournament, Kerr, a powerhouse wrestler in the mold of Coleman, decisioned the Hawaiian. Kerr appeared to have it all, yet in the background his life was a swirling mess, as is apparent in the HBO documentary "The Smashing Machine." He fought himself as much as men across the ring, and after beginning his career 12-0 (1 NC), he proceeded to lose 11 of his next 14 fights.
