Kenjon Barner
Running back | OregonThe big question in the preseason was whether Barner could step into LaMichael James' huge shoes and become an every-down back, not just an outstanding backup. Mission accomplished. Barner, a finalist for the Doak Walker Award, rushed for 135.33 yards per game, which ranked fifth in the nation.
He averaged 6.55 yards per rush and scored 21 touchdowns. He also caught 19 passes for 232 yards and a TD. His biggest game came on the biggest stage, too. He set a school record with 321 yards rushing and five TDs in the Ducks' 62-51 win over USC.
