The Road To Atlanta
Indiana and Louisville are title favorites. Michigan and UNLV are Final Four contenders. NC State is the pick in the ACC. Is this 2012 or the late 1980s? We may not see many knee-high socks or skimpy shorts, but there's a strong chance the upcoming season could take on a retro feel. Schools such as Kentucky, Kansas, Duke and UNC will be salty as always, but so should a handful of tradition-rich programs that are expected to reclaim their place among the blue bloods. There may not be any truly elite teams like 2012 Kentucky, but there will be a lot of really good ones. The parity will make the quest for the Final Four as wide open as ever. Expect to see some familiar jerseys come March. And maybe some old ones, too. -- Jason King
