Scavenger Hunt: The first Sustainability Scavenger Hunt took place in 2012 as part of the Memorial Student Center Grand Re-Opening Celebration. The scavenger hunt was played through a smart phone app and instructed teams to various campus locations to find clues and answer questions about sustainability. The goal of the game is to educate participants on sustainable features and options available to Texas A&M members as well as explore campus, have fun, and win prizes. One of the activities was riding over nails then removing the nails from a MaroonBikes airless tire. MaroonBikes a partner of Texas A&M - promotes sustainability through alternative transportation.
