CGD Eco Challenge

Bus Transportation: At TAMU we are committed to reducing our use of fossil fuels and limiting the emissions released into the atmosphere due to motor vehicle usage. Our transit system is one of the largest university systems in the nation with 80 buses running primarily off B-20 biodiesel. Every time an Aggie utilizes the transit system, a potential motor vehicle is taken off the road and our carbon footprint is reduced. Nearly 8,000 student riders utilize this service every day and in total about 5,000,000 rides are provided each year.
