12 Rounds: Canelo Alvarez-Josesito Lopez

Technique
A case could be made for Lopez here, based on his more varied arsenal, but Alvarez's effectiveness supersedes it. Canelo may not be the most technical fighter around, but he executes his limited combinations and punches with ease and confidence, and his ring generalship is superb. Lopez's balance is shaky, and he overextends his body on certain combinations to leave himself open to counterattacks, just to name two of his most glaring technical flaws.
Advantage: Alvarez
