ESPN.com's 2012 All-America Team
- Intro

The SEC hopes to win its seventh consecutive BCS national championship when the 2012 season is done. It's no wonder SEC teams dominate ESPN.com's preseason All-America team, with nine SEC players among the 25 spots. Alabama and LSU, which played in the Allstate BCS National Championship Game last postseason, lead the way with three All-Americans apiece. You want depth? Mississippi State cornerback Johnthan Banks, who wasn't even an All-SEC selection in preseason voting by media covering the league, starts in our secondary. The offense is led by the USC tandem of quarterback Matt Barkley and receiver Robert Woods, who will help the Trojans try to end the SEC's stranglehold on college football. -- Mark Schlabach
