Jeremy Shelley
Place-kicker | AlabamaAfter being one of the goats in a game riddled with missed field goals when Alabama first tangled with LSU, Shelley was the star of the show in the Big Easy. He was calm and collected, hitting five of his seven field goal attempts, including a long of 44 yards. The best thing was that he was able to overcome a blocked field goal early in the game to hit four of his next five. He was even able to laugh at a missed extra point after the Crimson Tide had its second national championship in three seasons locked up.
