16. TCU
TCU suffered significant losses on both sides of the ball from its 13-0, Rose Bowl-winning 2010 season. Despite the personnel losses, the Horned Frogs still figure to be as prominent and, they hope, as dominant on defense. Half of the secondary must be replaced as well as the heart of the interior up front, but Tank Carder and Tanner Brock headline an impressive linebacking corps. Sophomore QB Casey Pachall may lack experience, but not talent, and he will be brought along slowly behind the running of RB Ed Wesley. Nonconference foe Baylor will be a stiff early test and conference road games at San Diego State and Boise State could decide if the Horned Frogs reach double-digit wins in 2011. Gary Patterson has this squad reloading, not rebuilding.
