90. A Rolling Moss

Randy Moss takes screen pass the distance

Sept. 6, 1997: Marshall was playing its second game as an FBS program, and Randy Moss made it memorable with two long touchdowns -- but this one was especially good. On a third-and-6 from the Marshall 10-yard line, Moss took an inside screen pass from fellow future NFL player Chad Pennington and discovered his teammates had failed to do much blocking. Undeterred, Moss eluded five Army Cadets on the play with a dazzling repertoir of cuts, hurdles and stiff-arms and undiluted speed. Goodbye, defense. Hello, world.
