In that game, Steinkuhler added to his résumé with a lineman's fantasy play: a 19-yard touchdown run on a "fumblerooski" call.
Following the season he was the No. 2 overall selection in the 1984 NFL draft, but never justified the high pick. He played eight seasons for the Houston Oilers without excelling.
