Bart Starr
Green Bay Packers | Super Bowls I, IIAfter an inauspicious career at Alabama, Bart Starr was drafted in the 17th round of the 1956 draft by the Green Bay Packers. By 1959, Starr had become the starting quarterback for the Packers under famed coach Vince Lombardi. But make no mistake, even with Lombardi on the sidelines, it was Starr who was responsible for calling the plays. And clearly, he knew what he was doing. In 1967, Starr threw for 250 yards and two TDs to defeat the Chiefs and make the Packers the very first Super Bowl winners. He then did it again in Super Bowl II, throwing for 202 yards and a TD to nab a second Super Bowl MVP award and beat the Oakland Raiders.
