With the mammoth left tackle protecting quarterback Scott Tolzien's blind side, the Badgers allowed only 11 sacks in 12 games. The Badgers, the only team in the country with three 800-yard rushers, won a share of the Big Ten title and reached the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1999 season.
The senior won the Outland Trophy as the country's best interior lineman and was named Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year.
