Luke Kuechly
Linebacker | Boston CollegeLuke Kuechly made 171 tackles in the regular season. That's 42 more tackles than any other player in the ACC. That's 20 more tackles than any other player, period. Kuechly's otherworldly ability to arrive at the ball before the rest of the defenders has resulted in a streak of 21 consecutive games with at least 10 tackles.
The most amazing fact about Kuechly is not that he leads the nation's best defense against the run, or that he's only a sophomore. It's how the Ohio native ended up in Chestnut Hill. He looks like the classic Buckeye linebacker. He's just wearing maroon and gold.
