Ryan Kerrigan
Defensive end | PurduePurdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan produced a trailer for the season to come in the opener at Notre Dame. Kerrigan made 2.5 tackles for loss and forced a fumble in a Boilermakers loss.
That's pretty much how the season went. Kerrigan made play after play at the line, leads the nation with 26 tackles for loss and is tied for second with five forced fumbles.
That he could achieve all this in plain sight -- it's not as if offenses didn't plan for him -- makes his season doubly special.
