Kovalev is by no means considered a slow fighter. But Hopkins has incredibly maintained the quickness of his reflexes deep into his late 40s. He can still beat his opponents to the punch with lead right hands or time them perfectly with countershots. While he's much more economical in his output and the amount of energy he exerts at such an advanced age, Hopkins still moves like a fighter half his age.
