Brandon Scherff
Offensive tackle | IowaThe 320-pound Scherff, a former high school quarterback, is Iowa's strongest player and quite likely its best overall athlete. The senior left tackle is the anchor for everything the Hawkeyes want to do offensively, and he's a standout security guard for quarterback Jake Rudock's blind side. Iowa gave up the fewest sacks in the Big Ten last season (15). Expect coach Kirk Ferentz to have his team run left behind Scherff over and over again, and expect to hear Scherff's name early in the 2015 NFL draft. -- Brian Bennett
