LAS VEGAS -- The New England Patriots remain atop the NFL Vegas Rankings as we head into pro football's version of the Final Four.
The Patriots, who are the 5-4 Super Bowl favorites at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook and also improved to a league best 14-3 ATS with their 34-16 divisional playoff win over the Houston Texans after closing as 17-point home favorites, were actually the only team in our poll to not have their power rating increased. The Atlanta Falcons (who beat the Seattle Seahawks 36-20 as 6.5-point home favorites), the Pittsburgh Steelers (who beat the Kansas City Chiefs 18-16 as 2-point road underdogs) and the Green Bay Packers (who beat the Dallas Cowboys 34-31 as 5-point road underdogs) all were given half-point increases by our panel.
While most other polls have had the Cowboys ranked ahead of the Falcons all season long and up until this past weekend, the NFL Vegas Rankings have had Atlanta ahead of Dallas since after Week 14.
