However, the full name was dropped in February 1985 when the company adopted a new corporate name --- ESPN, Inc - and a new logo. Do we provide internship opportunities for high school students? No. While we work with many high schools to provide education and encouragement for seeking a career in our industry, we do not provide high school students internship opportunities.
Do we offer unpaid internships? No. Our intern program offers paid internships only.
Who pays for intern salaries and other expenses? Human Resources covers the costs for intern sourcing, applicant travel and salaries. Interns cover their own costs for housing and their transportation to ESPN to begin their assignment, as well as daily transportation to and from work.
Can I have interns in my department that are not part of the "Human Resource" intern program? No. Our objective is to have an integrated program that ensures consistency, a strategic focus, and the best use of resources company-wide.
Do we hire Freshmen or Sophomores for internships? No. Our objective is to hire students who have at minimum completed their sophomore year (rising Juniors). By doing so we have a more skilled and mature employee capable of handling the level of challenge we try to design into our internships.

Also, there is sometimes a delay in the archiving of a show.The signal sounds good for a couple of minutes but then starts to break up. What should I do?
Like a telephone line, it's possible to get a bad connection or a connection that deteriorates in quality.
