San Diego lost to BYU 91-33, shooting 0-of-20 from the 3-point line. The 20 attempts without a make are most by any team this season.

There have been 31 losses by AP Top-5 teams this season (19 vs. unranked teams). The most before the end of February was 35 such losses in 1989-90.

Texas has three wins against AP top-10 teams this season, tied with Kansas for the most in Division I.

Dikembe Dixson of Illinois-Chicago had 40 points and 17 rebounds, becoming the first player with 40 points/15 rebounds in a game since Melvin Ejim of Iowa State in 2014.

Louisville announced a self-imposed postseason ban for its men's basketball team for this season. The last time Rick Pitino didn't coach in the NCAA Tournament was in 2006. The last time he didn't coach in the postseason was in 1991 while at Kentucky.
