What is Nike's Snowboarding Project? It's a series of short films put together by current and future legends of shred cinema, featuring the Nike Snow riders, of course.
The edit that just released today was made by none other than Brad Kremer of Mack Dawg Productions fame, featuring an always entertaining Danny Kass, along with an internationally cosmopolitan crew -- Sage Kotsenburg, Louie Vito (hitting kickers!), Gjermund Braaten, Ethan Morgan, Jan Scherrer, Peetu Piiroinen and Austin Smith -- savagely attacking park jumps up at Silvretta Montafon in Austria.
For those youngsters (or oldsters) out there who might not know off-hand who Kremer is: If you saw any snowboard movie from the late '90s to late '00s featuring next-level jib stylings, you were probably watching Kremer's work. "Chulksmak," "The Revival," "Destroyer," "Double Decade," "From __, With Love" -- the list goes on and on.
"He has been making snowboard videos for so long and I have watched them all 100 times over again," says Smith. "With that much experience he has learned what he is looking for and the types of shots he wants. It is cool to work with someone with such a vision."
It looks like Justin Hostynek is on deck for the next Nike edit. What do you think we can expect? Dreamy powder pop sequences featuring Nicolas Müller? One can hope...
