Nicolas Müller, Gigi Rüf and Jussi Oksanen took gold, silver and bronze, respectively in the judged portion of first Real Snow Backcountry at Winter X Tignes 2012. After a tough bracket match-up that saw him in dead heats all the way to the end of each voting round, Oksanen also won the Fan Favorite vote. The medal winners -- Müller, Rüf and Oksanen -- were chosen by a panel of industry experts, and the Fan Favorite was chosen by you!
So Müller and Oksanen are both winners in this contest. But tonight we are honoring the gold medalist, who is perhaps one of the most stylish and inventive riders of an entire generation.
