From the official FIFA transcripts:
Joachim Low, Germany coach "The football we played in the second half was top class. My team showed the desire and commitment of champions. I never imagined we'd win by this margin. We talked about many things, and my team did so many of them to perfection, it was terrific. The way we fought our way out of adversity in the second half was top drawer. We're one of the four best teams in the world now, but that's where this team belongs. We have two games to go. We could end up achieving great things and it's in our own hands."
Bastian Schweinsteiger, Germany midfielder, Budweiser Man of the Match "We've played exceptionally well today, and I'm really proud of this team. Our tactics were superb. We're good enough to take the next step now and obviously we want to make the final. We've beaten two of the big names, England and Argentina, and we've already gone a long way. This is a very good team. We're not particularly experienced, but we have a lot of players who have no inhibitions and are prepared to try things. We may well play Spain next, who I rate as the best team in the world. Obviously, we respect them, but we have the potential to go far. It goes without saying that, as of now, we want more."
Thomas Müller, Germany forward "What's happened today is obviously just unbelievable. After you've played Argentina off the park and beaten them 4-0, you're basically speechless. The star today was definitely the team yet again. We're all playing at the limit; every one of us is giving everything for the cause. I hope my teammates do everything right in the semifinal, and maybe I'll score again in the final."
Miroslav Klose, Germany forward "Looking at the way we stood our ground and fought again today, just like we did against England, I only have one thing to say: respect. I'm proud of this team and also the team behind the team -- every man in this squad is sensational. I'm delighted we've hit the target we set ourselves before the tournament. Everything else now is a bonus."
Carlos Tevez, Argentina forward "Losing like that really hurts. I'm personally wounded. I feel the pain, but that's football. We were appalling today. Sometimes you fail to live up to your own expectations. I really don't know why this has happened. They totally dominated us, and we never had enough possession. On top of that, our counterattacking play was atrocious, but I'm not pointing the finger at anyone."
