• Critical lineup decisions await Klinsmann

There's an old adage in soccer that you stick with a winning lineup. Yet in 24 games at the helm of the U.S. program -- half of them victories -- coach Jurgen Klinsmann hasn't used the same starting XI twice.

Could that streak end Tuesday night in Mexico City?

All of Klinsmann's players are healthy and available to face El Tri following Friday's 1-0 World Cup qualifying victory over Costa Rica in a Colorado snowstorm, something that's rarely happened during Klinsmann's 19 months in charge. The lack of continuity has not been by design -- on at least a few occasions, Klinsmann would've loved to pick the same team twice.

The game against Mexico provides his next, best chance.
