When 2K Sports started development on "MLB 2K12," one of the main focuses was adding new animations to the game's engine. Producers were looking to improve everything from the way the catcher calls a game from behind the plate to the way a hard-charging slide can break up a double play. They also went through all of the star players in the league, adding even more of the signature batting styles and pitching motions baseball gamers have been begging for.
