Patrick Ryan started skating when he was six, got sponsored by the time he was eight and has made it through the mini-grom stage unscathed. Like Ryan Sheckler and Nyjah Huston before him, Ryan has had the great fortune of starting skating at a early age and now as a teenager is starting to come into his own. After working his way through am contests, Ryan is primed to be the next big thing. Arto Saari took an interest in Ryan and give a good word to Alien Workshop to start flowing him boards. ESPN.com sat Ryan down in front of the cameras and got his take on who he is, what he likes and where he's going.
