Offensive tackle Zach DeBell (Tarpon Springs, Fla./Tarpon Springs) continues to collect scholarship offers and is now up to 17 total. On Wednesday, the 6-foot-6, 265-pounder picked up a written offer from North Carolina State. Michigan also indicated that they were going to offer him. "I spoke with [Wolverines offensive line coach and Greg Frey]. He gave me a verbal offer and told me that a written one should be coming in the mail soon, he just has to clear it with the head coach [Rich Rodriguez)."It's an offer that excited the big lineman. "It's a huge program," he said. "They have alums all over the country. They have fans in California, in Texas, in Maine, Vermont, Alaska, wherever. They are all over the place."With the spring evaluation period in full swing, DeBell is expecting a number of coaches at his school to check him and defensive tackle Brodrick Lee out. Next week, Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida and Cincinnati all are expected in.
