Class of 2013 defensive lineman
Justin Moody from George Washington in Philadelphia finally started hitting the junior circuit this summer, and he hopes that, coupled with his junior season, will result in a few more Division I scholarships.Moody attended camps at Rutgers, Temple and Maryland in addition to a junior camp in January in San Antonio, but only Rutgers has offered the 6-foot-3, 260-pound DE/DT combo so far."It's a nice school, a nice organization," Moody said of Rutgers. "The coaches there, I met all of them and they're real good people."(Coach Greg Schiano) is a nice guy, liked his energy. He was telling me about the techniques they use. He told me I might play inside or outside."Despite growing up near Temple's campus, the previous Owls coaching staff didn't show much interest in Moody. New coach Steve Addazio has changed that and spent some time with Moody during the camp."I was with (defensive line coach Steve Cronin) and coach Addazio, and Addazio was telling me I have a bright future and that he wanted to see my highlight tape."Though the Scarlet Knights are the only team that has offered so far, Moody is in no rush to commit. He says he'll let the decision play out and hope more teams take a look at him. A North Carolina native, Moody would ideally like to play football somewhere in the South.
