Iowa hosted several of the top junior prospects in the Midwest for a junior day, including
Charles Webb (Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka). "Iowa has a great program. I really liked the coaches and I was told that I would get an offer as soon as they saw my ACT score," said Webb. "Minnesota and Wisconsin have contacted me about their upcoming junior days and I'll be going to those as well. Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Cincinnati all told me they would offer as soon as they saw my transcript and ACT score. I was named all-state, all-metro and all-conference this past season." The 5-foot-10, 175-pound cornerback was in on 110 tackles in 2010. He also scored five defensive touchdowns and had three interceptions.

Kapri Bibbs (Plainfield, Ill./North) as running back commitments for the Rams. "Colorado State was the total package," Alexander said. "I liked the school a lot. I liked the city (Fort Collins) a lot and I like the conference they play in . So I'm looking forward to the opportunity to play my college football for the Rams."
Miles picks Ball StateDefensive end
Nick Miles (Mebane, N.C./Eastern Alliance) gave Ball State a verbal commitment Sunday. "I really enjoyed my visit. I liked coach (Pete) Lembo and the plans that he had from the program. I wanted to get away from home to play my college football and felt that Ball State was the place for me." The 6-foot-2, 255-pounder said that Duke, Western Carolina and a few other FCS programs had offered a scholarship.
Kent State lands MalauuluKent State dipped into the juco ranks on Sunday to gain the verbal commitment of linebacker C.J. Malauulu. The 6-1, 235-pounder is excited about the opportunity. "I loved every part of my visit," Malaluulu said. "The weather is worlds away from what I'm used to but the coaches are what really stood out. Coach (Darrell) Hazell was great but coach (Marcus) Freeman really stood out. Coach Freeman played linebacker at Ohio State and he made it to the league (NFL) so he can really help me take my game to the next level. The short time I got to speak with coach Freeman was incredible. Ohio State must have taken a big hit losing the coaches they did to Kent State because I was just blown away. I can't wait to bring some of my West Coast culture to Kent."
