Monty Madaris (Cincinnati, Ohio/Moeller) is a prospect to watch in the Class of 2012. The 6-foot-2, 175-pounder says he's hearing from several FBS level programs and he's taking an unofficial visit this weekend. "I don't have any scholarship offers yet," said Madaris. "I'm going to Kentucky this weekend for an unofficial visit. In the next four weeks, I'm going to Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Cincinnati for unofficial visits. I'm completely open right now. I open all the mail that I get and I'm doing my homework on all the programs." Moeller has a 5-1 record and Madaris has 440 receiving yards and 3 touchdowns.
Bailey to visit CincyIndianapolis (Ind.) Cathedral is playing one of the toughest schedules in high school football this year, but it has to be feeling good after a big win this past weekend over previously-unbeaten Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller. One of the top junior prospects for the Fighting Irish is offensive tackle Jacob Bailey. The 6-4, 260-pounder is making the rounds on unofficial visits. "I've been to Michigan State and Ball State for games and to check out their facilities." Bailey said. "I'm going to Cincinnati for an unofficial visit this weekend. I don't have a scholarship offer right now and I plan on hitting a lot of camps and combines during the spring and summer."
Gray to visit NorthwesternOne of the top junior wide receiver prospects in the Midwest is heading to the Windy City for an unofficial visit this weekend.
Aloyis Gray (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) and a few of his Red Devil teammates are visiting Northwestern on Saturday night for its Big Ten tilt with Purdue. "I'm looking forward to heading up to Northwestern this weekend," said the 6-4, 175-pounder. "I've already been to Iowa and Indiana. I had a great time at both of those schools. In the next few weeks I'm going to be taking unofficial visits to both Purdue and TCU. I would also like to say that I'm not actually playing my preferred position this year. I would like to play quarterback at the next level." Gray has 400 yards receiving and four touchdowns this season. He has also thrown a 40-yard touchdown pass.
