Jordan Walsh and junior defensive tackle
Tommy Schutt, who already has scholarship offers from Boston College, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska and Northwestern. However, keep an eye on offensive lineman Johnny Caspers. The 6-foot-3, 275-pounder is already getting looks from the likes of Northwestern, Minnesota, Iowa and Purdue. "Johnny looks more like Chris Watt (Notre Dame) getting off the ball, than Jordan Walsh," said Glenbard coach Chad Hetlet. "Johnny is every bit as good as Jordan Walsh as a run blocker. He needs to work on his pass block but he's not bad. He's 275 pounds and can run."
Richardson raking in offersTerry Richardson (Detroit, Mich./Cass Tech) is one of the top junior cornerback prospects in the Midwest. The 5-9, 165-pounder already is starting to rake in some impressive scholarship offers. "Alabama, Iowa and LSU have offered me a scholarship," said Richardson. "There might be a few more schools that have verbally offered. The schools I'm looking at are the schools that have offered as well as Michigan, Ohio State, Florida, basically the Big Ten and the SEC."
