Defensive end Damon Knox (Muskegon, Mich./Muskegon) anchors the defense for perennial football power Muskegon and he has helped lead his team to a 3-1 record so far this season. The three-star prospect has started to narrow his college choices. "I don't have a top five but I do have a top three," said the 6-foot-4, 255-pounder. "Illinois, Michigan and Michigan State are my top three. All three schools have offered me and those are the schools that I favor at this point. I haven't set up any of my official visits yet. I really don't have any plans on when I'll visit or commit. Right now I'm concentrating on my senior season."No leader for NorrilsCheatham Norrils (Toledo, Ohio/St. John's Jesuit) is also off to a fast start this season. He and his St. John's teammates are undefeated with a 4-0 record including a big 17-14 win over Michigan powerhouse Brother Rice. Like Knox, Norrils said he's in no hurry to make a college decision. "I have scholarship offers from Toledo, Miami (Ohio), Buffalo, Bowling Green and Ball State," said the 6-0, 180-pound defensive back. "I don't have any official visits set right now and there's definitely not a leader. I'm looking at a lot of schools right now. I'm getting a lot of mail and phone calls. Illinois and Michigan State are a couple of schools I'm still talking with."In four games, Norris has four interceptions and he has scored five touchdowns.
