Jacob Lindsey (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) is having a very good senior season, but he's still in a holding pattern as far as his recruitment goes. "I'm getting a lot of calls," said the 6-foot-1, 210-pound linebacker. "A bunch of schools are still recruiting me. I'm hoping to get down to Vanderbilt for a game soon. Kent State, Bowling Green, Buffalo and some Ivy League schools have offered. I'm still talking to Boston College, Kentucky, Michigan State, Cincinnati and Stanford. I don't have a favorite and I haven't set up any official visits."
Kristoff's recruitng picking upJames Kristoff (Barrington, Ill./Barrington) has helped Barrington get off to a quick 4-0 start this season. The 6-4, 290-pound offensive lineman has a scholarship offer from Akron and he's still hoping that more schools see him as a fit for their program. "Recruiting has been going really good," Kristof said. "A lot of schools are calling now. Big Ten, MAC and few other FBS schools have made calls. I've been asked to make unofficial visits and stuff like that. Akron is my only offer. I'm still looking at Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Western Michigan and Wisconsin."
Bryant's recruitment still openDarien Bryant (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) has 11 catches for 166 yards and a touchdown this season. Pickerington North has a 2-2 record and Bryant is more focused on getting his team better than on recruiting. "Things are going well," said the 6-4, 220-pound tight end/defensive end. "I'm still very open to schools and haven't set up any official visits." Air Force, Duke, Maryland and Nebraska have all offered Bryant a scholarship.
