• Daniel wants to play in the SEC

I've been to several football camps and combines since February and one of the top linebacker prospects that I've seen thus far is four-star prospect Armonze Daniel (Avon, Ind./Avon). He started out at safety and modeled his game after Ronnie Lott, has developed into a 6-foot-4, 230-pound striker that loves to hit and has the athleticism to run sideline to sideline.Daniel has offers from Indiana, Purdue, Illinois, Cincinnati, Iowa, Minnesota. However, LSU, Mississippi State, Michigan and Michigan State are expected to offer as well."I had a very good unofficial visit to Iowa. It was really more than I expected. I got along well with the coaches. I liked the facilities and I felt comfortable. Having said that, I'd like to play my college football in the SEC because that's the best conference in college football and I want to play with the best."Auburn, LSU, Alabama, Florida State and Miami are the schools that I'm interested in the most right now. I camped at Alabama and I'm talking to Auburn on a regular basis. I'm not in a hurry to make a commitment. I've already decided to wait until after the season. I'll take my official visits and then commit."
