Darius Patton (Poland, Ohio./Poland Seminary) is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the Midwest. He has several scholarship offers and although he doesn't have a clear-cut leader for his services, there are a few schools that stand out. "I have offers from Cincinnati, West Virginia, Syracuse, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Indiana, Boston College, Kansas, Buffalo, Toledo, Kent State, Miami (OH), Akron and Youngstown State," said the 5-foot-10, 175-pounder. "I don't have a leader but Ohio State, Cincinnati and West Virginia would be my top three. I'm still hoping for an Ohio State offer. I'm not in a hurry to make a commitment. What I'd like to do is make sure I make a good decision and take some visits."• Defensive back C.T. Jones (Ft. Wayne, Ind./Northrop) says he'll have to show what he's got during the season to earn a scholarship offer. "I camped at Cincinnati, Purdue and Ball State this summer," the 5-10, 200-pounder said. "I was supposed to camp at Syracuse but had to cancel at the last minute. I haven't been offered a scholarship yet and that's alright. I feel that I have a lot to prove during the season and hopefully I can earn a scholarship during the year. I feel that Syracuse and Purdue are showing the most interest and they could be close to offering. Syracuse would be my leader."• Get used to hearing the name Deionte Buckley (Indianapolis, Ind./Warren Central). The 5-10, 190-pound running back follows in the footsteps of Darren Evans (Virginia Tech) and Jewell Hampton (Iowa) as great running backs for the Warriors. Buckley was one of the most talked about running back prospects during the spring evaluation period and he's a 2012 graduate. "I attended Western Michigan's one-day camp and they told me they liked me a lot," Buckley said. "The same thing with Cincinnati. The Cincinnati coaches told me they'd like to offer me soon. I'm getting a ton of mail and I'm being told by my coaches that there are a lot of schools that call and request film every week. This is going to be a big year for me."
