• Dual-threat quarterback Cameron Coffman (Raymore, Mo./Raymore-Peculiar) is holding scholarship offers from Arizona State, Iowa State, Kansas State, Nebraska and Wyoming. July is shaping up to be a big month for the 6-foot-2, 170-pounder. "I've only camped at Nebraska so far this summer," said the three-star prospect. "I'm going down to Alabama, Ole Miss and Tennessee in July for camps. I don't have a timetable set on making a commitment. I'm going to take all my visits and probably make a decision after the season."• Brandon Bryant (Omaha, Neb./North) camped at several schools this summer and is hoping to land a scholarship offer soon. "The summer has been going great so far," said the 6-2, 240-pound linebacker. "I camped at Nebraska and Kansas in June. Those schools are my favorites. I'm camping at North Dakota State on July 18. I'm looking to earn my first scholarship offer before the start of the football season. I also like Ohio University, Iowa State and Missouri. I'm hoping that my play during my senior season opens some eyes."• Cornerback Carmen Leonelli (Youngstown, Ohio/Cardinal Mooney) talks about his recruitment. "I've camped with Villanova and Duquesne," said the 5-7, 170-pounder. "I camped for a day at Miami (OH) and also attended a National Underclassmen Combine. I made an unofficial visit with Toledo. Obviously I'm wide open and hoping that my play on the field this year earns me a scholarship."• Linebacker Ben Russell (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) had his eyes set on playing his college football at a BCS school, but after the dust settled on summer camps, he found the perfect fit. "I camped at Ohio State, Kentucky, Cincinnati, Illinois and Northwestern," said the 6-1, 225-pounder. "I felt there were several schools ready to pull the trigger on an offer but in the end I just felt comfortable with Ohio University. Coach [Frank] Solich is a great guy. I really got along well with the other coaches on staff and Ohio offers a very good education."
