A lot is being made of Ryan Howard's new contract in the media. Is $125 million a lot? Absolutely. Do I wish I were Albert Pujols right now? Hell, yes. You can bet Howard's deal just made the end result of Pujols' upcoming contract negotiations a lot more lucrative. But the press' theory that Howard's deal is out of line doesn't really resonate with the players I know. We're all happy for Ryan. He's hit 40 home runs, logged 130 RBIs season after season and been to the World Series twice. How much more do you want?
