People always ask me if I get bored during games. I don't. If you're getting bored, then you're probably not doing your job well. In the field, we always have to be alert, and if you zone out and flub a play, you're going to hear about it when you get back to the dugout. Making an honest mistake is forgivable, but mental errors like missing the cutoff or forgetting the pitch count or number of outs will get you a talking to. And that's just humiliating.
