• Six under-the-radar free agents

Soon-to-be-ex-Dallas Stars center Brad Richards and New Jersey Devils winger Zach Parise undoubtedly head this summer's respective unrestricted and restricted free-agent classes. The biggest names, however, aren't necessarily the most intriguing.

Indeed, Richards, who has all but confirmed that he won't be returning to Texas, figures to end up either with the New York Rangers -- who will soon buy out captain Chris Drury to free up cap space and who are coached by Richards' former mentor, John Tortorella -- or back with the Tampa Bay Lightning, with whom he won a Stanley Cup in 2004 and would have a real shot at another one next season and beyond.

Parise, meanwhile, appears headed to arbitration, a risky but necessary move that could backfire for the cap-strapped Devils if the 26-year-old hits the open market as an UFA in 2012.

But enough about them. Here are six somewhat under-the-radar players (three UFAs and three RFAs) worth keeping an eye on.
