NBA: If the Nuggets want to even up their series with the Thunder, they will have to find a way to stop Oklahoma City's Batman and Robin combo of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. The Thunder's pair of young guns scored a combined 72 points in their 107-103 Game 1 victory. Durant managed to put up 41 despite the best efforts of a whole handful of Denver defenders, including Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Raymond Felton and Kenyon Martin. See if George Karl and the Nuggets can make the right adjustments and steal one from the Thunder in OKC (8 p.m. TNT).
The Grizzlies shocked the top-seeded Spurs with a 101-98 Game 1 victory, but San Antonio has been in this position before. In each of its last three championship seasons -- 2003, 2005 and 2007 -- it lost the opener of its first-round series. Memphis, on the other hand, has been swept in each of its three playoff appearances (8:30 p.m. NBA TV). ... The final game of the night pits the Lakers against the Chris Pauls, er, the Hornets. Paul led New Orleans to a shocking 109-100 win with 33 points and 14 assists in Game 1. The Lakers will have to find a way to slow him down and defend on the pick-and-roll if they hope to grab at least one win before the series heads down south (10:30 p.m. TNT).
NHL: The Rangers look to defend the honor of their home ice and even their series with the Capitals at two games apiece when they meet tonight (7 p.m. Versus). Caps coach Bruce Boudreau insulted Madison Square Garden on Monday and accused the Rangers of playing dirty. We'll see if his comments give New York a spark.
The Lightning and the Penguins will be shorthanded tonight when they face off in Game 4. Tampa Bay's Steve Downie and Pittsburgh's Chris Kunitz were suspended for tonight's tilt for unrelated illegal hits in Monday's game. The Penguins, who will look to take a commanding 3-1 series lead, also expect to be without Sidney Crosby, who remains sidelined for concussion-related symptoms (7 p.m. CBC). ... The Flyers have won two straight to take a 2-1 series lead over the Sabres. Philly hasn't lost in regulation in Buffalo since 2007. The Sabres will have to find a way to defend home ice if they want to keep playing (7:30 p.m.).
There's a lot of chirping going on from the benches of the Ducks and Predators in their opening-round series. Expect another physical game tonight as the Ducks try to even the series at two games apiece (8:30 p.m. TSN). ... The final game of the night might be the final game of the season and the final game in Phoenix for the Coyotes. The Red Wings take a 3-1 lead into the game and look to sweep a Phoenix team that may be headed to a new city next season. Will the Coyotes prove they belong in the desert or will the Wings force them to skate off into the sunset (10:30 p.m. Versus)?
MLB: Good luck to those two cats in New York City, living in a glass house and watching every single regular season game for the MLB Network.
