NBA: After losing Game 1 to the Heat 97-89, the Sixers might catch a break tonight. Dwyane Wade, who had 17 points Saturday, including five in the final minute and a half, missed practice Sunday with a migraine and had to wear tinted goggles in this morning's shootaround. He is expected to play, but might not be as deadly if migraine symptoms continue to bother him. Philadelphia has lost all 16 series in which it fell behind 0-2, so tonight is a big one. Evening things at the line will be key for the Sixers, as the Heat took 39 free throws to their 15 in Game 1 (7 p.m. TNT).
The Pacers gave the Bulls all they could handle in Game 1, leading for all but the last 48 seconds, but Chicago's 16-1 game-ending run was the difference. The Bulls can take a 2-0 series lead with a win tonight at the United Center. Chicago will try to slow down Danny Granger, who netted 24 points in Game 1, and Tyler Hansbrough, who finished with 22 despite taking an elbow to the head. If the Pacers hope to even things up they will have to find a way to stop Derrick Rose, who had a game-high 39 points Saturday (9:30 p.m. TNT).
NHL: Tied 1-1 the Flyers-Sabres series heads to Buffalo for tonight's Game 3. Philly's back-up goalie Brian Boucher relieved a struggling Sergei Bobrovsky on Saturday to help lead the Flyers to a come-from-behind win. The Sabres will try to steal back the momentum tonight and capitalize on their home-ice advantage. To win, they will need to cut down on penalties -- they gave the Flyers 15 power plays in the first two games of the series (7 p.m. Versus). ... The Canadiens stole two games from the Bruins in Boston to put themselves in great position with the series heading back to Montreal. If the Habs can hold serve on their home ice for two games, they will shock the No. 3 Bruins with a sweep (7:30 p.m.).
After falling to the Penguins in Game 1, the Lightning tied a franchise record for playoff goals with a 5-1 victory Friday. With the series tied at a game apiece, they head to Florida for Game 3 tonight (7:30 p.m.). ... In the final game of the night, the Red Wings will try to take a commanding 3-0 lead over the Coyotes with a win in Arizona (10:30 p.m. Versus).
MLB: Eleven baseball games are on the docket today, including the Red Sox's annual Patriot's Day game. Boston-Toronto is the only day game. ... Tonight at 8:40, the Rockies put their league-best 12-3 record on the line against the Giants, who have won four of their last five. ... At 8:05 p.m., the 10-5 Rangers play host to the 10-5 Angels, who have won five straight and are coming off a three-game sweep of the White Sox. ... At 8:10 p.m., the Indians, winners of 11 of 13, visit the Royals, winners of four of five, in a battle of Central Division front-runners.
